Your barrier against harmful vapours.
When dangerous vapours, fumes, or carbon monoxide build up in the cargo area of a van, the only thing standing between that risk and your driver is an effective, certified partition. Autosafe anti-vapour partitions are engineered to seal the cabin from the load area, blocking harmful gases, reducing cabin noise, and helping your fleet stay compliant and your drivers stay safe.
Key Features
Constructed from a 1.6mm mild steel panel with an ERW steel frame, a solid, durable barrier designed for the demands of commercial fleet use.
Seals the cabin from the load area, preventing dangerous vapours, carbon monoxide, and chemical fumes from entering the driver’s compartment
The solid steel panel reduces cabin noise from the cargo area and provides a degree of thermal insulation, a better working environment for drivers on long runs.
Designed to install using existing captive threads and factory mounts in the vehicle. Average installation time is approximately 60 minutes, minimal downtime for your fleet.
Certified to AS/NZS 4034.1:2008. Helps fleets meet WHS obligations around driver exposure to hazardous substances in commercial vehicles.
What is an Anit-Vapour Partition?
An anti-vapour partition is a full-height steel panel fitted directly behind the driver and passenger seats in a van, forming a sealed barrier between the cab and the cargo area. Unlike a cargo barrier, which is designed to contain loads in a crash, an anti-vapour partition is specifically engineered to prevent the ingress of dangerous gases and fumes from the cargo space.
They are particularly critical for fleets carrying fuel, chemicals, or battery-powered equipment, and are often a compliance requirement under Australian workplace health and safety regulations for commercial vans.
